Hello and welcome to the website of North Ayrshire Heritage Friends.

 

We are a recently formed group of interested local people who are tasked to further the interests of North Ayrshire Heritage. These include Heritage Trails, Family History, Archives, Artefacts and Archaeology. If you share our interest in any of these areas please come and join us.

 

• If family history is your bag there is expert advice, as well as full facilities, available at our base, North Ayrshire Heritage Centre, located at Manse Street, Saltcoats.
• There you can also access archives and artefacts plus a comprehensive library covering North Ayrshire's history.
• North Ayrshire has a very healthy range of local history groups, including archaeology being undertaken by the Kilwinning Community Dig, and many new and exciting projects are currently being developed.
